Terms of Service

Last updated 12 October 2026

Daily Speedrun (dailyspeedrun.com) is run by Tom Greer, based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By playing, or by creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy. Questions: [email protected].

The game

There's a new level every day at midnight UTC. Anyone can play it for free. With an account you can put your times on that day's leaderboard; the top three each day win medals. We may change, add or remove levels and features over time.

Your account

Fair play

Every run is replayed on our server before it counts, and the top runs each day are reviewed before medals are awarded. Don't cheat: no modified game code, tools that play or press keys for you, or anything else that gets you a time you didn't play for. We may disqualify runs, take back medals, or close accounts that cheat. Our decisions about runs and medals are final, though you're welcome to ask us about one.

If Daily Speedrun closes

We plan to keep the game running for a long time, but if we ever have to shut it down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice on the site.

Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep the game running and fair, but it's provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses you suffer from using the game, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you've paid us. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights if digital content you've paid for is faulty.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change matters, we'll make it clear on the site before it applies. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
